The newly elected Chairperson of Newry, Mourne and Down District Council Councillor Valerie Harte attended her first official engagement this week as First Citizen of the Council when she welcomed the World Voyager Cruise Ship into Warrenpoint Port.
The passengers, from the USA, were greeted with warm hospitality and Councillor Harte presented (from L to R) Captain Vitaliy Tsylke and Staff Captain Miguel Andrade with a plaque to mark the visit.
