Shots Fired at House In Newry

Detectives are appealing for information following a report that shots had been fired at a house in Newry yesterday evening, Monday 16th March.

Detective Inspector Handley said: “At approximately 9.15pm, it was reported that two shots had been fired through the window of a property in the Damolly Village of the city.

“The residents, who were in the house at the time, were uninjured however have been left badly shaken by the ordeal.

“Enquiries are ongoing and I am appealing to anyone who may have witnessed anyone suspicious or any suspicious vehicles in the area, or to anyone with CCTV, door-bell or other footage that could assist with the investigation, to contact detectives on 101 quoting 1817 16/03/26.”
