From start to finish, the Lord Mayor’s charity spinathon was on a roll, helping raise a fantastic £1,400 for Epilepsy Action NI.
Taking place on Friday 12 December at South Lake Leisure Centre, the high-energy event saw participants pedal throughout the day in 30-minute slots, helping turn fitness into funds!
Thanks to the generosity of those who cycled and donated, the spinathon raised an impressive sum in support of Epilepsy Action NI, helping the charity continue its vital work for people living with epilepsy and their families.
Speaking after the event, the Lord Mayor of Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon, Alderman Stephen Moutray said:
“I’m thrilled by the fantastic response to the spinathon and deeply grateful to everyone who took part or contributed. Together, we’ve raised funds that will make a real difference to those affected by epilepsy. It was inspiring to see so many people come together for such an important cause.”
