Sinn Féin Councillor Valerie Harte has welcomed the start of improvement works in the Courtney Hill area following recent engagement with the Department for Infrastructure (DFI).
“I’m pleased to see action on the ground, particularly the clearance of overgrown trees that were blocking public pathways,” said Councillor Harte. “These issues were reported directly to DFI, and I want to commend them for responding swiftly.”
Councillor Harte also praised the ongoing support of Sinn Féin Minister Liz Kimmins:
“Minister Liz Kimmins has shown sustained commitment to addressing local infrastructure concerns. Her backing has been key in driving progress on the issues raised by our community.”
She confirmed she will continue to press for further works discussed during the meeting and is actively liaising with the relevant agencies.
“Sinn Féin will keep working with all partners to deliver real change and ensure lasting investment in our communities. We will continue applying pressure until every issue is resolved.”
