Detectives investigating an arson attack on a car in the Castlewellan Road area of Banbridge on Tuesday 19th August, have arrested a 27 year old man on suspicion of arson. The man was arrested in the Banbridge area this afternoon (Wednesday 20th August) and currently remains in custody.
Detectives continue to appeal to anyone who may have witnessed anyone suspicious in the area or anyone with CCTV or other footage that could assist with their enquiries, to contact them on 101, quoting reference 1976 19/08/25.
