Hughes Welcomes Appointment of Commissioner For Victims & Survivors

Sinn Féin Newry Armagh MP Dáire Hughes has welcomed the appointment of Joe McVey as the new Commissioner for Victims & Survivors.

The news was confirmed by the First Minister and deputy First Minister.

“The appointment of Joe McVey as the new Commissioner for Victims & Survivors is welcome,” said the Newry Armagh MP Dáire Hughes.

“Victims and survivors, many of whom across Newry Armagh, have suffered greatly and deserve to be supported and have access to good-quality services.

“We look forward to working with Mr McVey in his role as Commissioner and working to build a better future.”
