The Warrenpoint and Carlingford Lough community will be holding a Solidarity Walk and Peaceful Protest on Saturday 15th, March starting from Warrenpoint Harbour Authority House in the Square to the main Warrenpoint Harbour Authority gates on the Newry Road. This peaceful protest is from 2:30pm and walk starts at 3pm. The parade commission has been notified of the Solidarity Walk and Peaceful Protest and the walk will be on the footpath on route.

This peaceful event is in support of the community of Warrenpoint and Carlingford Lough and the fears they have of this stinking black bin waste and the effects it has on residents, businesses, tourism, property prices and the environment of the Carlingford Lough and everyone is welcome to come and join us.
Last year the Solidarity Walk and Peaceful Protest saw a large crowd take part with their many colourful placards and signs and heard from politicians, who have been invited again this year to hear the concerns of a community that has stink and noise issues now and are worried what Spring and the Summer will hold.
