Slieve Gullion area Sinn Féin Councillor Oonagh Magennis has said that the news that Belleek Playpark will be extensively upgraded is to be welcomed.
The Councillor said,
“Belleek had been left with a significantly reduced PlayPark for over two years.
As local Councillor I have worked with the Belleek community to ensure that the PlayPark for the village is fit for purpose and I commend the local community for their efforts”.
The Sinn Féin elected representative continued,
“I am delighted to announce that work on the new Play area will commence in the next few weeks, with the aim of being completed by March 2025.
The plans for the new playpark look fantastic, and it will be a fully accessible and inclusive area for the entire community to enjoy”.
