Police were conducting routine patrols in Newry on Thursday evening, 31st October, when it was reported that a young boy had been struck by a firework in the Armagh Road area of the city.
Enquiries are ongoing, and police are appealing to any witnesses, or anyone who might have any information which could assist, to get in touch.
