Newry, Mourne and Down District Council Deputy Chairperson, Councillor David Lee-Surginor was delighted to attend the IPB Pride of Place Awards 2024 on behalf of the Chairperson, Councillor Pete Byrne. The Council extends its congratulations to all the nominees for their contributions to the local communities. Cuan Mhuire and the Rural Health Partnership were nominated in the Community Wellbeing Category. The Rural Health Partnership promote the health and recovery of people experiencing mental health problems and distress, within the South Armagh area. Cuan Mhuire who won runner up in the category, is the largest voluntary provider of Addiction Treatment Services and Residential Rehabilitation.
