Weather Report – 14th – 18th October

By Meaney’s Weather

The week ahead. Turning milder and unsettled at times.

MONDAY . Starts off cool with some lingering patches of fog which will burn off as temperatures rise to a pleasant 15C thanks to a southerly airflow. There will be some good spells of sunshine and a chance to get the clothes out on the line.

TUESDAY. Quite unsettled with heavy rain moving up from the south to most counties throughout the day, a slight chance of thunderstorms developing as temperatures reach 17C.

WEDNESDAY. An overcast start with some rain which will quickly clear leaving a pretty decent day with a slight increase to maybe 18C. Another good drying day but keep an eye on the washing as there maybe an odd shower in some northern counties in the late afternoon.

THURSDAY. Looks good, dry and bright with a high of 16C.

FRIDAY. A wet start with some heavy downpours which will clear off to the northeast coast early afternoon. Slightly cooler with an expected high of 13 in a freshening southerly breeze.

It’s good to be back. Thanks for all of your support.
