Detectives from the Police Service of Northern Ireland’s Terrorism Investigation Unit have made three arrests as part of an investigation into the activities of the New IRA.
Three men, aged 25, 27 and 58, were arrested this morning, Wednesday 18th September, following searches in the Newry area.
Items seized included two cars and a number of mobile phones.
The men were arrested under the Terrorism Act, and have been taken to Musgrave Serious Crime Suite in Belfast for questioning.
