A recommended pay uplift from the Pay Review Body of 5.5% has been endorsed by the new UK government for NHS England. No clarification has emerged yet on a funding stream for devolved governments to support our pay rounds.
In the meantime, UNISON members in England are being consulted on this PRB recommendation. No indication has emerged on any possible negotiations on an additional uplift to this recommendation.
UNISON Northern Ireland with other health unions are seeking a meeting with DOH and employers to discuss our pay uplift due from April 2024.
