Local Hurling Club Presents Cheque To Cuan Mhuire

Craobh Rua Camlocha Hurling Club attended the recent Cuan Mhuire  40th Anniversary celebrations and presented the Addiction Charity, founded by Kerry nun Sr Consilio Fitzgerald, with a cheque from their recent Spinathon fundraiser.

Niall McGinn Treasurer of the hurling club speaking at the cheque presentation said,

“Craobh Rua Camlocha has for quite some years now had an affinity with Cuan Mhuire affectionately know locally as Sr Consilios.

We wear the Cuan Mhuire & PIPs Hope & Support logos on our training shirts in deep appreciation for what these charities have done for individuals and their families.

This year at  our club’s fundraising Spinathon in Camlough village we highlighted the work of Cuan Mhuire and its addiction services,  and we are happy to support them with a contribution.

Craobh Rua involvement with Darkness Into Light in Derramore Forest ensures that PIPS also receive much needed funds”.

Concluding Niall said,

“We would like to thank Sr Consilio, Sr Sheila and all the staff and volunteers involved with helping to deliver Cuan Mhuires life saving and life changing services”.
