A GoFundMe page has been set up locally to restore the Noah Donohoe mural in Newry which has fallen apart.
The GoFundMe page highlights the plea:
“In 2020 I painted a mural in Newry to remember the life of teenage Noah Donohoe. However, after four years, the mural has deteriorated. Which is why I’m asking for support by launching a GoFundMe campaign to raise funds for the restoration of this important mural.”

“The restoration process involves several steps:
1. **Stripping the Wall**: Removing the old, deteriorated paint to prepare the surface for restoration.
2. **Applying Brick Stabilizer**: Ensuring the wall is properly stabilized to support the new mural for years to come.
3. **Repainting the Wall**: Giving the wall a fresh coat of paint to provide a strong background for the mural.
4. **Repainting the Mural**: Recreating the mural with the same love and dedication, ensuring Noah’s memory continues to shine brightly in our community.”
“The total cost for these restoration efforts is estimated at £5000. We need your help to bring this project to life. Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a difference and help us achieve our goal.
It is crucial that we keep seeking justice for Noah and his mother. This mural not only commemorates Noah’s life but also stands as a symbol of our collective demand for truth and justice. Supporting this restoration effort means supporting the ongoing quest for answers and justice for Noah and his family.”
“Please consider donating to our GoFundMe campaign and sharing it with your friends, family, and social networks. Your support means the world to us and will help keep Noah’s memory alive.
Thank you for your kindness and generosity.”
