Connectivity in South Armagh Essential For Economic Development and Quality of Life – Quinn

Welcoming the delivery of enhanced 4G mobile coverage for parts of South Armagh, Sinn Féin Councillor Áine Quinn has stated that better connectivity is essential for local economic development and improved quality of life.

Speaking as enhanced 4G coverage went live, Cllr. Quinn said;

“Sinn Féin has lobbied for enhanced mobile and broadband coverage for years.

We are delighted to see better coverage for the wider Mullagbawn area go live this week”.

The local Councillor continued,

“This will have a transformative impact on the local community. Good coverage is essential for workers and businesses, for community safety and socialising.

Many parts of South Armagh have been let down by little or no coverage for too long, and it’s great to see this being addressed.”

Sinn Féin Westminster candidate, Dáire Hughes speaking on the issue said that enhanced  mobile coverage is a key part in making South Armagh a more attractive place to live, work and invest in.

Dáire stated,

“The improvement of mobile coverage over parts of South Armagh is a very positive development. People here are immediately seeing the benefits of this, in their work and private lives. Improvements are scheduled for other parts of South Armagh shortly and we look forward to them being rolled out.

“Enhanced mobile coverage is a key part in making South Armagh a more attractive place to live, work and invest in.”
