Police are appealing for information following a burglary that happened in the Ashfield Avenue area of Newry between 09:00am and 12:50pm today. The victims were an elderly couple; their house was ransacked and a large quantity of cash and jewellery was stolen as well as other items that were of deep personal value to them.
