Sinn Féin councillor Catherine Nelson has urged the council to seize the exciting opportunities that exist for communities across the ABC council area.
The group leader of the Sinn Féin council team spoke after the party held their local strategy planning day.
Councillor Nelson said:
“There are huge, transformative opportunities available for ABC, and it is important that the council steps up and seizes these opportunities.
“The regeneration of Armagh City, our town centres, enhanced rail connections and investment into our rural communities are just some of the exciting projects on the horizon.
“In addition to building for the future, we must also see the council work to deliver the services that rate payers deserve here and now.
“In many communities across ABC, people are crying out for better services and the council must ensure these are delivered.
“Sinn Féin is determined to work with all parties in ABC to deliver real change for all communities and to make this a better place for everyone to live and work together.”
