Sinn Féin Councillor Mickey Larkin has said that the recent burglary at a filling station in Forkhill was an appalling act of criminal theft and damage.
The local Councillor has appealed for anyone who might have information that can help apprehend the thieves, to contact the police immediately.
The Slieve Gullion Councillor said,
“The break-in on the business on the Carricksticken Road is an appalling act of criminal theft and damage.
Those engaged in these criminal attacks are motivated by greed and care nothing for the damage they are inflicting on the business involved nor the community it serves.
Anyone who might have information that could help identify these thieves should contact the PSNI immediately”.
