Sinn Féin councillor Bróna Haughey has praised the Foley PTA for their successful Christmas grotto.
The Cusher councillor said:
“A massive congratulations to all those involved in the Foley parents association in organising the excellent Christmas grotto last week.
“They put in a tremendous effort and delivered an event that was hugely successful and enjoyed by all in the community.
“Transforming the Masters house into a festive grotto with activities for the children and opportunities to meet with Santa were all received extremely well and it was extremely heartening to see the joy this brought to many local families and children.
“The event was a great success for the parents association, helping to raise vital funds for the school in the year ahead and I wish them the very best of luck with their future projects.”
