Multi-Agency Meeting To Tackle Dublin Road Diffing – Kimmins

Sinn Féin MLA Liz Kimmins will meet with both the PSNI and DFI this week to try and address the long running issues with ‘boy racers’ on the old Dublin road near the border.

The Newry and Armagh MLA said:

“Local residents have been regularly tormented by the anti-social behaviour from these gatherings and despite previous attempts to tackle these dangerous activities, it continues to rear its head. 

“Sinn Féin has worked with both the PSNI and An Garda Siochana on this matter to attempt to deliver a solution for residents.

“Cllr Cathal King and I will now meet with both PSNI and DFI to look at what physical measures can be put in place on this stretch of road to prevent these gatherings as well as the significant noise and dangerous driving that comes as a result.

Sinn Féin is determined to ensure that residents can live in peace and that the safety of 

Sinn Féin is determined to secure a solution that ensures local residents can live peacefully and that our local community is kept safe for all.
