There was a large police presence viewed in Newry City this morning Friday the 4th of August as police dealt with a sudden death at the Warrenpoint Road area in the city.
Despite unconfirmed reports via social media the PSNI have confirmed the death is not being treated as suspicious.
A spokesperson for the PSNI told Clanrye News and Sport:
“Police attended the scene of a sudden death in the Warrenpoint Road area of Newry this morning, Friday 4th August.
The death is not being treated as suspicious at this time.”
