Detectives in Newry are appealing for information and witnesses following the report of a burglary in the Dernaroy Road area of Killeavy on Wednesday June 21st.
It was reported that a property had been broken, with entry gained by forcing the front door, sometime between 9am and 3.30pm. The house had been ransacked and a substantial amount of jewellery, along with two jewellery boxes had been stolen.
We are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time the incident took place or who may have noticed anything suspicious or have captured CCTV or dashcam footage to contact us on 101 quoting reference number 1407 21/06/23.
