Police Advise of Traffic Disruption During Newry Parade Tonight

Motorists are advised of possible traffic disruption this evening, Thursday 29th June, due to a parade taking place in Newry.

There may be delays in the city between 7.30pm and 10.30pm, when the parade is scheduled to take place.

It will be moving off from the Belfast Road along the Downshire Road, Church Avenue, Windsor Hill, and Sandys Street, before concluding at Downshire Road.
Diversions will be in place.

Officers will be on the ground to accommodate the flow of traffic, but to avoid potential delays please seek an alternative route for your journey where possible.
