Acknowledgement from the family of the late Margaret Hanna – R.I.P

On behalf on myself and my Aunt Elizabeth, I would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with us on the sudden death of my dear mother Margaret.

To all my wonderful friends whose love and support carried me through the days of the wake and still are supporting me, thank you so much to each and every one of you, you all know who you are.

To all our neighbours in Monaghan Row, especially Declan and Anne Grant and Eileen McStay, thank you for your help and support and for always being there.

To all those who visited our home, brought food, attended the Mass in person or online, sent Mass Offerings, sympathy cards and letters, texted and telephoned, my sincere thanks.

To Seamus from Boulevard Catering thank you for all your help at such short notice.

To The Doctors and Staff of the McVerry/McEvoy Medical Centre and in particular to Dr Mark McEvoy and Christine and Rita for your care and support over the years and to Dr Christophe Hillemand for your advice and guidance my sincere thanks.

To my mummy’s wonderful carers from Trust Care and Extra Care who looked after and cared for and loved her like their own granny thank you so much.

Thank you most sincerely to Fr Damien Quigley for your prayers and support in Daisy Hill on the morning of my Mummy’s passing. To Fr Tohill for your prayers in our home and to the Dominican Community including Gary for your warm welcome on the morning of the funeral .

To our very Dear and lifelong friend Fr Wright – Colum for your friendship and visits throughout the years, your advice and guidance and for celebrating a funeral Mass which was just perfect because, you knew her so well, my heartfelt and most sincere thanks.

To Annamaria Boyle and Doreen Finnegan, your musical presence enriched the Mass so much and to Rebecca and Rachael for reading and to Patricia our Eucharistic minister. To Declan, Eamon, Ronan, John, Robert and Gavin a sincere thank you to you all.

To those who made donations to the homeless thank you.

To Pat, Jacqueline and Patrick McGennity a sincere and heart felt thank you for your advice and help in carrying out the funeral arrangements your “professionalism was perfection personified”.

Thank you to the grave diggers in Monkshill who prepared her final resting place.

And lastly to Suresh, Akila, Akshara and Alisha – your “Irish Granny Title” made her so proud, thank you for that and so much more.

As I cannot thank everyone by name, I hope you will all accept my sincere and heartfelt thanks at this sad time. Mass has been offered for all your intentions.

Margaret’s months mind will be celebrated on Sunday 24th July at 12.30 pm in St Catherine’s (Dominican Church).
