Newry and Armagh Alliance representative Jackie Coade has condemned the clamping of cars belonging to NHS staff at Daisy Hill Hospital in Newry.
Speaking from her social media Ms Coade said:
“I am absolutely disgusted to see Southern Health and Social Care Trust staff being clamped at #Daisyhill hospital in #Newry today.
I am absolutely furious over this situation.

Staff are unable to get out on emergency calls this afternoon due to this company clamping cars belonging to staff.”
“This not only highlights the difficult situation of parking at the hospital but also that healthcare workers should not be subject to paying for parking when they ago to work in our hospitals.

I am currently on to PSNI and with the company to resolve the issue so healthcare staff can get on with their essential work.”
