Police have arrested two men following the report of an aggravated burglary at a house in Ashtree Hill, Tandragee, on Friday 5th November.
A report was received shortly after 3pm on Friday afternoon that two men, one armed with a metal object, had forced entry to a house in the area. Once inside the house however, the men were confronted by a male occupant, and they made off empty handed to a grey Nissan X Trail car and left the scene. A short time later, a police patrol on the Armagh Road in Tandragee came across a road traffic collision in which a grey Nissan X Trail had been involved. Two men located nearby were then arrested and taken into custody. The men, aged 27 and 45, were arrested on suspicion of a number of offences including aggravated burglary with intent to steal and dangerous driving. Both men remain in custody at this time.
