Caught on Camera!!!!! RUC Taunt and Harass Spiking Victims Family on Hospital Grounds
“Send your mother our regards, we wish her well, the whole family”
“Tell Stephen we were asking about him as well” – in reference to Saoradh’s Newry representative Stephen Murney
“You’re not so brave now, you were the big man the other day, putting flags in people’s faces and with your smoke bombs” – In reference to the Saoradh/eistigi protest on Thursday in Armagh city
“The tears are near coming down your eyes, stop crying” – Directed to an 18 year old whose mother has just been rushed to hospital unconscious
Those are the disgusting and disgraceful comments made by members of the Crown Forces in Daisy Hill Hospital, Newry towards an 18 year old Republican activist whose mother was rushed to the emergency department after having her drink spiked while she was working on Oct 23rd.
Slamming the militia Saoradh’s Newry representative Stephen Murney said “In recent weeks the issue of women having their drinks spiked has featured heavily in the media and on social media platforms.
“On this occasion the victim, a local taxi driver, fell victim to the ploy when something was slipped into a can of lemonade she had placed beside her as she picked up fares.
“A short time later she was unconscious at the wheel. Thankfully she had managed to pull the vehicle in safely and contacted fellow Saoradh members who came to her aid and rushed her to hospital.”
Stephen continued “The outcome of this incident could have been tragic had the victim lost control of her car and crashed into pedestrians or other motorists, not to mention the medical implications of herself being drugged.
“It is clear from this footage that when a Republican falls victim to such a travesty, the true nature of the occupation forces comes to fruit.
“Are these the forces who should be invited into schools, community centres and other facilities? We think not.”
Murney concluded “On this occasion the mask has slipped and their true nature has been exposed. It is a far cry from the smiling faces we see on recruitment advertisings for these forces.
” This is the RUC.”
